1. Unboxing
Raymoto R1/R1 PRO Package List:

When unboxing your Raymoto R1 / R1 Pro, please check that all items are included and undamaged.
If you notice any missing or damaged parts, contact us at support@raymoto.com.
2. Product Overview
This section introduces each component of the Raymoto R1 / R1 Pro.

3. First Use of the Raymoto R1 / R1 Pro



Cable Connection:
Follow the steps below to properly connect the cables:
Step 1:
Insert the dual-headed Type-C connector into the Type-C port on the main unit.
Step 2:
Connect the two Type-C cable ends to:
-
the Type-C port on the lifting column
-
the Type-C port on the cooling fan of the sunshade
Step 3:
Connect the power cable to the power adapter and plug it into a wall outlet.
Step 4:
Insert the child safety key into the USB-A port.


4. Optional Accessories
4.1 Air Purifier Installation Guide
This accessory is not included in the standard package. Purchase separately if needed.

Please ensure both devices (engraver & purifier) are powered OFF before installation.

Connect the engraver and the air purifier using the smoke exhaust pipe.

Connect the engraver to the air purifier using a Type-C data cable.

Connect the air purifier to the DC 24V 2.5A power adapter and turn on the power switch.
The purifier will automatically start when engraving is detected.
4.2 Foot Switch Installation Guide
This accessory is not included in the standard package. Purchase separately if needed.

Plug the foot switch’s Type-C cable into the engraver’s Type-C port.

Use the APP’s offline mode to transfer engraving files.

Press the foot switch briefly to begin engraving.

5. Download and Install Raymoto Software
5.1 Raymoto Mobile APP
You can download the Raymoto APP through:
- App Store (iOS)
- Google Play (Android)
- Official Raymoto Website: https://raymoto.com/pages/software-download
6. Connect the R1 / R1 Pro to APP or Software
6.1 Connect via Bluetooth
Turn on the machine and open the Raymoto APP.
Go to Connect Device → Bluetooth and select your R1 / R1 Pro.

6.2 Connect via WLAN
If your environment supports network connection, choose WLAN connection.
Follow the APP instructions to add the device to the network.
Upon successful connection:
- The laser indicator will turn green
- The device will emit a beep as confirmation
6.3 Connect the Machine to Raymoto Desktop Software (PC)
Step 1:
Connect the machine to the power supply and to your computer.
Step 2:
Open the Raymoto PC software → click Connect Device.
Once connected, the indicator turns green, and the software will display the device model.
7. Using the Raymoto R1 / R1 Pro
7.1 Create a Project
You can create your own design using the Raymoto APP or Raymoto PC Software.
Step 1 – Adjust the Focus (Set the Height)

Place the engraving material on the working platform.

Rotate the adjustment knob to raise or lower the platform.
-
When the scale shows a distance of 160 mm between the material surface and the laser head, focusing is complete.

Operation notes:
- If the lifting platform’s indicator is blue, press the knob to unlock it.
- Turn clockwise to raise, counter-clockwise to lower.
- After adjusting to the correct height, press the knob again to lock to avoid accidental movement.
Step 2 – Import Artwork
- Tap Material to browse design templates
- Or tap Picture to import your own image from your phone
Supported formats: PNG / JPG / SVG / BMP
Step 3 – Select Material Type
Tap Materials, select the material you are using.
The system automatically loads recommended engraving or cutting settings.
Note: Material differences may cause variations. Recommended parameters are for reference only. Adjust based on actual results.

Step 4 – Adjust Artwork Size
Tap Pictures and resize the artwork according to the material dimensions.
You may also drag the lower-right corner to scale freely.

Step 5 – Enter Engraving Preview
Tap on a blank area → tap Start to enter the engraving preparation screen.
Step 6 – Outline Preview and Engraving
Tap Outline to preview the engraving area.
Use the directional keys ↑ / ↓ / ← / → to adjust the position.
Once confirmed, tap Start, then tap Confirm again to begin engraving.

8. Emergency Stop
If abnormalities or errors occur during operation:
Press the Emergency Stop Button immediately
This cuts off power and stops all machine movement.
Important Notes:
- The emergency stop does not work in handheld mode.
— In emergencies, unplug the power cable or press the pause button on the machine. - When using roller mode in portable configuration,
the emergency stop button is disabled.
— Please unplug the power or use the Pause/Stop in the APP.
