What’s the difference between R1 and R1 PRO?

The key difference is laser power:

  • R1: 10W laser – ideal for everyday engraving tasks.
  • R1 PRO: 20W laser – with higher power, it engraves significantly faster and improves efficiency.

📌 For example, engraving a 50×32 mm butterfly pattern on stainless steel takes:
 • R1 – 13 minutes 18 seconds
 • R1 PRO – only 5 minutes 14 seconds

Both models share the same frame design, software compatibility, and accessory options.

What materials can the Raymoto R1 series engrave on?

The Raymoto R1 and R1 PRO can engrave a wide range of materials, including:

  • Wood (solid wood, plywood, MDF)
  • Leather (real and synthetic)
  • Anodized aluminum
  • Stainless steel (surface marking)
  • Acrylic (dark colors only)
  • Paper, cardboard, bamboo, fabric, painted metal, slate, ceramic (with coating)

⚠️ Not suitable for clear acrylic or reflective metals like gold, silver, and copper.

Is the machine safe to use?

Yes. The Raymoto R1 series is designed with safety as a top priority.

  • Laser Safety Classification: Class 1 (IEC 60825-1) – Safe for use without goggles under normal operation.
  • Certified: CE, FDA, and RoHS compliant.

Its fully enclosed optical system and international safety certifications make it ideal for use at home, in schools, makerspaces, and other.

Is there a warranty?
