三、First use of the Remoto A1

3.1 Quick Assembly before Using the A1 Basic

1. Read the warning label, then tear it off.
2. Install the tripod: Align the 1/4" threaded hole with the tripod screw and tighten clockwise.
3. Turn the ball head knob clockwise to lock it, ensuring the laser aperture is parallel to the engraving material.
4. Adjust the tripod angle using the angle adjustment knob.
    Note: Set the tripod's standing angle to the maximum setting to ensure the engraver is placed        stably.
5. The tripod has 5 height levels. Press the release switch on each leg to adjust. Level 4 provides the optimal working distance of 108mm.
    Note: It is recommended to set all three legs to the same level to keep the device balanced, and      to ensure each leg is securely locked.
6. Connect the power adapter plug and plug it into a power source to complete the installation.

3.2 Quick Assembly Before Using the A1 Standard/A1 Portable Kit

① Read the warning label and then peel it off.
② Install the Handle：Align the handle with the mounting slot on the back of the laser module, then slide it into place until it clicks.
③ Install the Protective Cover：Align the protective cover with the four mounting holes on the bottom of the laser module, then insert it into place.
④ Power On the Handle: Press and hold the function button on the bottom of the handle for 3 seconds. When you hear a beep and the indicator on the laser module lights up, the device is ready for use.
⑤ when the protective cover is in contact with the material surface, the laser is at the standard working distance of 108 mm.

  • Charging the Handle：

① Insert the power adapter body and conversion plug together to complete the installation.



② Connect the power adapter to the charging port on the handle. The indicator flashes while charging and remains solid when the battery is fully charged.

3.3 Quick Assembly before Using the A1 Enclosed

① Insert the power supply board into the rear power port of the main unit, then tighten clockwise to secure it.

② Align the mounting holes on the bottom of the power board with the safety guard, then tighten the screws.
③ Insert the child safety lock into the designated port. Connect the power adapter to the power input port, then turn on the power switch on the protective enclosure.

④ Open the door and place the material on the worktable. Rotate the knob to adjust the worktable height until the material surface is aligned with the bottom of the focusing rod, achieving the standard focal distance of 108 mm.


四、Installation and Connection of the Raymoto App

4.1 Installing the Raymoto application

Please search for ‘Raymoto’ in the App Store or Google Play, or visit the Raymoto application's official website to download and install it onto your mobile device.
Note: The A1 supports iOS and Android devices only.

4.2 Software Connection

① Power on the engraver and ensure the laser unit Indicator is solid yellow.



② Open the Raymoto app and tap Connect. In the Bluetooth device list, select the device name you searched for (Raymoto_A1_XXXX).


③ When the connection is confirmed, the device will beep and the status indicator will turn solid green.

五、How to Engraving

① Place the material under the machine and adjust the focus. Ensure the distance between the material and the bottom of the machine is 108mm.


② Create a Project and Engrave

  • Online engraving：
    Open the Raymoto app main interface：



  • Offline Engraving Guide：

    Open the Raymoto app main interface：

    ① Connect the engraver to the Raymoto App, go to Creation, then create and save the engraving file. (Refer to Tutorial 5.2 Online engraving)

② Return to the main interface, find the saved file in "My File", tap to upload the image, and wait for the upload to complete.



③ Start offline engraving: Place the engraving material under the laser output aperture. Adjust the working distance to 108mm. Short press the function key to preview the offline engraving file. Align the material, then long press the function key for 3s to start offline engraving.
